About
Guide.chi.il.us was started in 1995 as a mail domain for myself and my friends. In late 2000 - early 2001 I finally moved from my provider to its own server when I was able to add features beyond email to such things like this web-page. Then I change providers, then the server died, then I put it out here at Bitstream Networks and now, only two or more years later, you can look at it.Much of the content of the site came from my original site hosted at interaccess.com, some of the pages hosted on this site belong to other people, the rest are my random creations. One word of note, the Chicago Area DDial page I once had at interaccess is now located at 300bps.com
All of the old interaccess content, and any major revisions to this site will be stored in the Archive in case you have a need to see it.
Site Design
It is the intention of this site to be relatively light weight and should be navigable by even the most restrictive of web browsers. You will find that this site has very few graphics, in fact most of the pages have only four images. You will also notice there is no flash or javascript on main site pages.
